Please read through the appropriate Terms of Service before commissioning me!

By commissioning me, you agree to the TOS regardless of whether or not you've read it.

★ Art Commission TOS ★

I have the right to refuse a commission at any time.
I will not/cannot draw NSFW, sexually suggestive art, ferals (unless they can be drawn anthro,) mechs, extreme gore (excluding candy gore,) hate art or stolen characters.
The commissioner can use and post their commissioned art but MUST credit me as the artist.
If posting art in which the character does not belong to you, you must credit both me as the artist and the owner of the character.
Art theft/tracing of my art will not be tolerated under any circumstance.
I will not issue a refund if you are dissatisfied with the art piece. If you aren't satisfied, let me know and we can discuss making small changes to the piece. I will not redo the entire piece again however.
I hold the right to refund you if I am unable to complete your commission.
My turnaround time for art commissions can be anywhere between 1 day and 2 weeks. If it happens to take longer for whatever reason, I will let the commissioner know.
When ordering a commission, make sure to include all relevant info (eg. reference sheet, pose/expression, etc.) this saves time and makes the overall commission process smoother.
I have the right to use my creations as examples of my art as well as posting my creations to my socials with credit to the commissioner for the character. If you aren't comfortable with this, do not commission me.
Do not ask me to draw something I specifically state I will not draw (eg. NSFW or hate art) If you do this, you will be swiftly blocked and put on a blacklist.
By commissioning me, you agree to these terms of service regardless of whether or not you have read the full thing.

★ Fursuit Commission TOS ★

YellowCatCreations has the right to refuse a commission at any time.
You must be 18 or over to commission YellowCatCreations for a fursuit. Valid ID may need to be provided to prove you are aged 18 or over. YellowCatCreations reserves the right to decline any commission from a person who is under the age of 18. (All personal information given to us will only be viewed by YellowCatCreations and not shared to other parties (legal name, address, email, phone number, etc))
YellowCatCreations refuses to create any characters under copyright, including but not limited to Pokemon, anime, disney, pixar, etc. This is due to legal reasons with companies being able to sue for unauthorized profit made off of their copyrighted characters.

Getting a Quote

You will need to have a valid quote in order to commission a fursuit. Contact me for a quote when quotes are open and I will provide you with one.
In the reference sheet section of the form, a minimum 2 view reference sheet of the character is required. If the design of the character is more complicated, a 3 view reference sheet may be required. The character’s reference sheet must be accurate and detailed to exactly how you want them to look. YellowCatCreations is not responsible for inaccuracies in design due to an out-of-date or unclear reference sheet.
YellowCatCreations will not work on just a description alone.
Not all colours are available in fur so your colours may potentially need to be altered slightly based on fur available. I will contact you if this issue occurs.
YellowCatCreations reserves the right to decline designs.
You will also need to include in the form the type of fursuit you wish to purchase. These options can be found in the Fursuit Commissions section of this website as well as being available on the form for you to choose from. Please make sure to add all add-ons you wish to have for your suit. If any are missing, they will not be completed and you will be charged extra for the costs of missing parts if you still wish to add them to your suit.
When filling out the quote form, please make sure to include all relevant information. This makes sure the process is smooth and you are able to receive your quote properly.
I will contact you and send you a quote after you have filled out the form in full. This quote is valid for 3 months and will need to be resubmitted for a new quote after this time period as prices may have been altered.
A quote is required for a slot to be offered to you. I will be taking quotes for a limited amount of time (usually 1 week) and depending on how many commissions I am taking on at the time, I will contact a select number of those with a quote with a slot offer. If you are contacted with a slot offer, you will need to make a deposit to secure your slot.

Payment

To claim your offered slot, you will need to make a 40% deposit within 7 days. This deposit is non refundable under any circumstances, so be sure you wish to go through with the commission before you pay. If the deposit isn't made in this 7 day window, you will lose your slot and it will be offered to another person.
All prices are in GBP (Great British Pounds)
After the down payment is made, you will be added to my waiting list until 100% of the payment has been received. The project will start once the 100% full payment has been received.
YellowCatCreations is happy to discuss an individual payment plan. This will need to be formally agreed to in writing prior to the addition to the waiting list. Payment plans have a minimum of £300 per month. These payments are expected to be paid on time and in full, otherwise YellowCatCreations holds the right to cancel the commission and in turn a refund excluding the non-refundable deposit will be given.
Payment is taken only through direct bank transfer.

Work in Progress Photos and Updates

Work in progress photos and updates will be sent through the commissioner's contact method of choice when significant progress has been made (e.g. completion of foam base, eye installation, patterning, furring, etc) or if confirmation is required for a suit update or part.
YellowCatCreations is run by one person. I am a student currently in full-time education so please keep this in mind as I will be working on fursuit commissions along-side university work.
Constant persistence of asking for WIPs will result in the potential of disallowing future commissions taken from the commissioner.
If the commissioner fails to respond to contact attempts within 30 days, a 30 day warning will be issued. Failure to respond within the next 30 days will result in cancellation of commission with no refund given. Any progress already made will be altered and sold on as a premade fursuit.
When supplies have been ordered and work has already started, YellowCatCreations asks that you do not make any changes to your character design. Any changes made after this can cause the price to change as well as the date of completion.

Completion Dates/Deadlines

A rough estimate of the completion of the suit can be given at the commissioner's request. This may change later due to circumstances however the commissioner will be informed.
YellowCatCreations will not work to specific deadlines such as cons or events. I do not want to rush my work as I wish to provide the best and highest quality of suit I can offer you.
When the suit is completed and ready to ship, the commissioner will be contacted and the shipping address as well as the shipping price can then be arranged.

Shipping/Pick ups

Shipping is not included in quote price and will need to be paid in full once the fursuit is complete for the fursuit to be shipped to the commissioner. Commissions will only be shipped when shipping has been paid in full.
Shipping is accepted for both UK and internationally. The price of shipping will depend on the location of the commissioner.
Shipping price is calculated using commissioner’s postcode/zipcode/country and will be shipped using Royal Mail with tracking.
If the commissioner lives close to local meets or cons I am attending, pickup of the suit can be arranged to avoid shipping cost.

Warranty/Suit Repairs

All suits come with a 30 day warranty from the date of receiving it. This warranty covers (but is not limited to) not fitting due to maker error, popped seams, missing features that have been paid for, etc. YellowCatCreations covers the cost of shipping.
After this initial 30 day warranty, depending on the complexity of the error there will be a charge for repairs. The commissioner must cover the cost of shipping.
YellowCatCreations’s work is the work of one real life person. This is a handmade product so not everything will be perfect and there may be imperfections/errors in the suits creation, none of these errors should impact the wearability of the suit, but commissioners need to be aware that handmade items will always have imperfections.
YellowCatCreations is not responsible for damages to the commissioner caused by use of product or heat exhaustion. It is the commissioner’s responsibility to take good care of their suit (ie. cleanliness, well-brushed, stains) and use it properly and safely.
YellowCatCreations is not responsible for damages to the suit from incorrect cleaning methods. Contact me if you need information on how to clean your fursuit.

Refunds

As stated before, the 40% deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. If the commissioner wishes to cancel their commission before full payment has been received, all funds paid to YellowCatCreations excluding the 40% deposit will be refunded in a time period of 90 days. If for whatever reason it takes longer than this, I will contact the commissioner.
If a cancellation occurs when materials have been ordered, YellowCatCreations reserves the right to use these materials for future commissions or premades.
If a cancellation occurs when work has started on the suit, the design of the suit will be altered and sold on as a premade. It will not be sent to the commissioner if they have cancelled.

Media Usage

All character rights remain the property of the commissioner, however by commissioning YellowCatCreations you agree to me using images of my creations for promotional purposes, for example as past examples of our work or being posted to our social medias with character credit to the commissioner.
If you are posting an image of your fursuit to your own social media, you must credit my socials for the creation of your suit. Do not claim to have created it yourself.

Allergy Warning

YellowCatCreations operates in a household where dogs are present.
Please be aware that we cannot guarantee a product shipped to you does not include tiny amounts of dog hair so it is recommended to not commission us if you have an allergy relating to this.
